2018年是湯定華教授作品刋登豐收的一年，先有中文大學出版內含有大量湯教授作品、書信、等的"番禺林碧城先生藏古舊翰墨選輯“，繼而中大圖書館展出"風雅傳承-香港開埠以來古典詩文文獻展"湯教授1940年前後作品。

最後趕緊在我們的基金始創人湯定華教授一百歲冥壽出版的"思海樓詩詞抄"終於面世。這個歷時三年的項目總算告一段落。我們代表慈善基金會對李國明前輩和香港中文大學鄒颕文學長謹慎的校對工作和投入大量的精神和時間，感謝萬分。遺憾的事是李老師在詩詞抄還未面世時在一年前多去世。

慈善基金會也很感謝多名董事捐贈校對、印刷、和一切費用。

Prof. Tong’s literary works had a very productive year in 2018. First, Chinese University of Hong Kong Library published a selection of his poems and letters in the book, “The Brushmarks of Friendship: Poetry and Calligraphy Treasures in Tribute to Lin Bicheng”. Subsequently, from September to October 2018, Chinese University of Hong Kong Library hosted an Exhibition called “A Splendid Century of Classical Chinese Prose and Poetry in Hong Kong”, where it showcased significant and inspiring pieces of classical Chinese literature and manuscripts from the library’s collection. A compilation of Prof. Tong’s works from the 40’s were presented in the exhibition.

Finally, to celebrate Prof. Tong’s would have been 100th birthday, “思海樓詩詞抄”, a collection of his poetries, was rushed into printing. This endeavor was a three-long-years of planning, organizing and implementing. On behalf of the Tongs Charity, we would like to thank 李國明前輩 (Mr. Lee Guo Ming) and Chinese University’s 鄒颕文學長. They have invested vest amount of time and energy to make “思海樓詩詞抄” possible. However, regretfully, Mr. Lee passed away a year before the book went into production.

湯定華，名啟亮，以字行，粵之南海人。髫齡肄業康有為先生令侄康隱泉主辦之循本國民學校。受詩於熊潤桐，受文於佟紹弼，受畫於程竹韻，受書於其令尊星池公也。及長，嘗聽講于國民大學。其令堂雷燕威氏為求德女校校長，詩人許菊初仼教其間，編者以是相識。焉日寇將犯粵，其父留守家園，着其隨母偕弟妺避難香江。編者偶過其寓，見壁上擘窠大書國難家仇四字，字又類康先生，者奇之。是時編者辦有建民學校，遂邀之執教，其後兼任漢持中學主任。會以父喪，故潛回奔喪。又以母老弟妹幼，不得復出。已而香港亦淪敵手，粵中諸名儒，多困陷區講學。廣東大學以是受詞於陳述叔，受經於任子貞，在經學言，則簡門再傳弟子之一也。戰後歷任導羣中學、救恩書院文史教席。課餘與廖鳳舒、劉伯端、曾希穎結為詞社。又與吳肇鍾、許菊初於周懷璋醫生處結為詩社。書畫則與李研山、張谷雛、鄧芬等，過從甚密。並嘗辨有詩詞書畫周刋。六年前以乃弟及兒輩多在美，遂移居加州，任加州大學國畫教授，現留意著述西山真氏論、陶潛詩。自經術中來則湯氏以詞嗚，正詞外而經內也。
