Covid 19 Pandemic
Wuhan, China was struck by a mysterious infectious disease beginning in November 2019. Quickly, it has spread all over the world. Millions of people were infected because we have no immunity, cure or vaccine to it. Covid 19 caused thousands of deaths, millions of sick, and economic devastation due to cities lockdown behind its trail.
America saw first active confirmed Covid cases around late January 2020. Hospitals became our frontline for this very contagious disease. Our medical teams pleaded to the general public because of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as N95, surgical masks and protective gears were quickly running low, and new inventories were hard to find.
To assist our medical staffs in saving lives, Tongs Charity Foundation purchased around 11,000 disposable masks from a manufacturer in China, and then air shipped them to California. We are very happy to offer some assistance to various medical clinics.
